Kate and William will also meet with representatives from the Michelin Action Group, set up following the news that the city's Michelin tyre factory is due to close, affecting 845 jobs, per the BBC.

Kate Middleton and Prince William flew into Scotland this morning to conduct an official royal visit at Dundee's Victoria & Albert Museum, which opened in September 2018. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended university in Scotland at St Andrews, which is where their relationship began, and isn't far from Dundee.

For the trip, Kate wore a McQueen Tartan coat dress, with black accessories.

As pointed out by Kensington Palace's official Twitter account, Kate and William previously visited Dundee together back in 2015, with the couple "looking forward to returning to the city" today.

Royal correspondent Omid Scobie also detailed the visit on Twitter, explaining that the Duke and Duchess would "open Scotland’s first design museum" during the trip:

Last year, the Duchess of Cambridge became royal patron of London's V&A Museum, and opened their photography center in October 2018. For the solo visit, Kate wore a beautiful tweed Erdem dress, which she paired with Jimmy Choo velvet pumps:
