Animal Crossing: New Horizons has its first seasonal event, and it begins today.
From April 1 to April 12th, the new version of Animal Crossing will be celebrating Bunny Day. Yes, the name of the event implies its only one day, but it will in fact last for longer than that. The event is here to celebrate Easter. This event only occurs once every year, so you may as well join in on the fun.

But it's important to note that you need to have downloaded the latest game update available in order to access all of the Bunny Day features.
What is the Animal Crossing Easter event?
Nintendo released a helpful video that explains the basics of what to expect on Bunny Day. First, you'll need to find Zipper T. Bunny on your map. He can spawn anywhere, so just look for the giant yellow rabbit somewhere. Zipper will tell you he's hidden eggs throughout the map and that he needs help finding them. There are six different types of eggs (explained below) and you can use them to create different crafts. And as a fun side, the video explains there will be another free update to the game in late April, which adds the Earth Day event.
